About the Studio

ARC is a purpose-driven studio that exists to creatively support organizations working on solutions to climate change¹.

By helping brands effectively communicate their mission and value through clear and strategic branding and high-quality graphic and web design, I aim to educate more people about the immediate and long-term realities of climate change, and engage them in supporting, financing, and expanding effective solutions.


¹ Climate change is a complex problem with the potential and need for a variety of concurrent solutions. I’m interested in myriad industries and projects that can drive impact such as: the widespread expansion of green energy, improving agricultural practices, promoting plant-based diets, facilitating a circular economy, capturing carbon with nature and technology, and educating people about science and the climate.

ARC Studio is a one-woman show run by designer, creative director, and expert generalist Abby Ciucias.

 
EXPERIENCEd founding designer

I’ve spent the last 12+ years learning and growing as both a technical designer and a creative leader. In many of my past roles, I’ve served as an early-stage and foundational designer, always wearing many hats and ultimately helping companies secure funding, support, and growth through branding and visual storytelling.

PERPETUAL STUDENT

I’m at my most *blissed-out-but-focused* when I’m learning something and exploring new ways to create. Recently, I’ve been focused on honing my skills in front-end coding and web development, and exploring the use of more data visualization in my work and the tools with which to achieve it.

CLIMATE ADVOCATE
