Blu Dot commissioned a motion-driven homepage asset to accompany an early 2025 direct mail campaign celebrating the company’s 30-year history. The goal was to create a visually engaging piece honoring the longevity of the brand while reinforcing the brand’s reputation for timeless, design-forward furniture.
The final concept centered around an animated timeline highlighting key moments across three decades of product design. The motion system was designed to reflect Blu Dot’s visual language: clean, modern, playful, and highly considered.
Originally developed as a campaign-focused homepage feature, the asset has remained a hero component on the Blu Dot website, extending its role from promotional content into a lasting part of the brand experience.

To that end, they’ve thoughtfully designed every piece to have personality and a purpose. Namely, to be enjoyed by everyone for a good, long time.
